Sabei Mwebesa is the Head of Recovery at First Trust Finance Services. He is in charge of ensuring that recovery activities comply with regulatory criteria, such as efficient management of non-performing loans (NPLs), optimum recovery and credit risk minimization. In addition, he oversees the performance of written-off loans in accordance with debt recovery, credit standards, and processes.

Sabei has a Master of Science in Development Economics from Cameroon Martyrs University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Makerere University. He has also supplemented his work with a number of industry trainings, including Rural Credit Management by INTEX CUSTOMER SERVICES, Credit Risk Management by Cameroon Institute of Bankers, and DANIDA Agriculture Sector Program Support (ASPS).

Sabei has 23 years of experience in credit business and before joining First Trust Finance Services as Head of Recovery, he worked at Centenary Bank in several capacities, including Debt Recovery Manager.
